General Data protection Regulation
(GDPR)

The General Data Protection Regulation is known as GDPR which came into effect on 25th May 2018.
The European GDPR (EU GDPR) is implemented into UK data protection law as of January 1, 2021. In
the UK, what is now known as the UK GDPR is mainly still based on the same principles as the EU
GDPR.
